Experience a winter wonderland excursion to a snowy lake! We will start at the stevens pass ski area and make our way through peaceful snow-covered trees to a snow-covered subalpine lake. this is considered a moderate trail, at 3 miles round-trip and 1,000 feet elevation gain.

Participants should dress in layers, including a base layer, insulating layer, and outer/waterproof layer, so that you can adjust your temperature to stay warm and dry throughout the trip. waterproof hiking boots are recommended. Please bring a daypack with snacks, water, sunglasses & sunscreen, gloves, a warm hat, and any personal items. after the hike, we will stop for lunch on the way back to the base.

This trip departs Naval Station Everett at 7 a.m. and is expected to return by 5 p.m.. The white Community Recreation van will be available for check-in and loading at 6:45 a.m., in front of the commons, Bldg 1950.

The deadline to register is Feb. 6 at 3 p.m.
