Wildflower ID Hike
Saturday, July 25 | 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. | $15, $13 LIBERTY-Eligible
Meander through flowery fields on this fantastic summer hike at Artist Point! This trail features beautiful views and plenty of opportunities to learn how to identify Washington's wildflowers. The moderate hike covers 4.5 miles round-trip with a 1,000-foot elevation gain. Along the way, we will stop at the scenic Nooksack Falls and visit a local restaurant for lunch. Please bring your own spending money for food, or a sack lunch if you do not wish to eat out. The deadline to sign up is July 22nd at 3 PM.
Participants should dress for the weather in sturdy hiking shoes and bring extra layers, such as a light jacket and a raincoat. Plan to bring a daypack with at least two liters of water and plenty of snacks to eat during the hike. Please note: no cotton clothing and no Crocs.
The minimum age for participants is 13 with parent supervision.
