Navigation 101 Hike
Saturday, July 18 | 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. | $15, $12 LIBERTY-Eligible
Enjoy the beauty of the Skykomish Valley on this easy-to-moderate hike while learning some navigational skills with a compass at the top. We will wind through a mossy forest and enjoy views of the gorgeous Mount Index and other peaks from the ridge at the top. The hike is 3.3 miles round-trip with an 800-foot elevation gain. After the hike, we will stop in town for lunch.
The minimum age is 13 with parent supervision.
Participants should dress for the weather, pack extra layers, and wear sturdy-soled, closed-toed hiking shoes (no Crocs or clogs). Please plan to bring a daypack with plenty of water and snacks. Bring your own spending money for lunch, or a sack lunch if you do not wish to eat out.
