FREE Mind-Body Mental Fitness Course for Sailors and families

Naval Station Everett's Fleet & Family Support Center is offering a stress-resiliency program designed to help Sailors and families better understand and enhance their mind, body, spirit, and social domains to cope with the stressors found in the Navy lifestyle. The Mind-Body Mental Fitness (MBMF) course is a free 12-hour course held over six sessions. Participants will learn proactive pathways to achieve mental fitness, find balance within the four domains, and gain practical skills they can use daily at home and work.

The evidence-based MBMF curriculum was developed jointly by the Fleet & Family Support Center and the Naval Center for Combat Operational Stress Control. The course will teach participants how to leverage neuroplasticity to allow for new ideas and perspectives and build mental toughness through consistent practice to develop personal resilience, deepen connections with themselves and others, and live in fuller accordance with their core values.

Upcoming course dates can be found on the Events page at everett.navylife.pnw.com. To register for an upcoming MBMF course, contact the Fleet & Family front desk, either in person (Building 2000, Room 133) or over the phone (425-304-3735).
