Virtual Gold Star Cycle to Remember
Paying tribute to the fallen and honoring the families left behind.

Whether on a stationary bike or just riding around your block, participation is as easy as 1-2-3!
 
STEP 1: Select a Fallen Service Member that you would like to recognize and honor. (Go to NavyGoldStar.com/tribute for a list of names.)

STEP 2: Personalize your bib. (Download an “I Ride to Remember” bib template in the 'downloads' section of this event) On your bib, write in the name of the Fallen Service Member you would like to recognize.

STEP 3: Post a pic of yourself with your “I Ride to Remember” bib pinned to your shirt or affixed to your bike. Use the hashtags #navygoldstar and #GoldStarFamilies. 

* For Captain's Cup points, send your information to your installation fitness email below with proof of distance biked.

The Navy recognizes that no one has given more for our nation than the families of our deceased service members. The Navy Gold Star Program is dedicated to keeping survivors connected to the military, while honoring their sacrifice as well as the service and sacrifice of their loved one. Supported survivors include spouses, children, parents, and siblings.

The Northwest Region provides outreach and support services to hundreds of Gold Star Family Members each year:

-              Deceased Service Members Remembered and Honored over the past year – 358

-              Households Supported – 465

-              Survivors Supported – 756

-              Survivors in the Military – 33 Active Duty / 2 Navy Reserve
