Naval Station Everett Hosts Annual Retiree Seminar

EVERETT, Wash. - A retiree seminar for all United States Uniformed Services will be held at Naval Station Everett, Saturday, May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Commons. The seminar is free and open to all authorized military ID cardholders.

Military retirees and their spouses from all branches of the United States Uniformed Services are invited and encouraged to attend this important annual seminar. Topics to be covered include policies and procedures that affect retired personnel, their families and surviving spouses, earned entitlements, eligibility and legislative changes to programs and services. Surviving spouses are encouraged to attend this seminar to find out about benefits and resources available to them after their loved ones have passed. 

Speakers at the event will include representatives from the Navy Retired Affairs Branch, Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS), Naval Station Everett Branch Medical Clinic, and Navy Legal Service Office. 

Information tables will open at 8:30 a.m. and will be available throughout the seminar. Formal briefings will conclude at noon.
